Frequently Asked Questions
Does the calculator include the end date?
Total days counts the days between the two dates, so it does not include the end date itself. If you need to count both the first and last day, such as for an event, add 1. The business day count includes both the start and end dates when they fall on weekdays.
Are public holidays excluded from business days?
No. Business days excludes weekends only. Holidays vary by country and employer, so subtract any holidays that fall in your date range.
Can I count backward to a past date?
Yes. Enter the earlier date as the start date and the later date as the end date to find how much time has passed between them.
