How the Countdown Works
The timer subtracts the current time from your target date and time and converts the difference into days, hours, minutes and seconds. Percent complete = time elapsed since the start date ÷ total time from start to target × 100.
Example: if you started counting down on January 1 to a launch on April 1, then by mid-February you are about 50% of the way there.

Will the countdown keep running if I close the page?
The countdown is calculated from the current time whenever the page is open, so it will always be accurate when you come back. Your event details are not saved on our servers.
What does "percent complete" mean?
