Find Your Exact Age
This age calculator tells you exactly how old you are in years, months and days. It also shows the total number of days you have lived, the day of the week you were born and how many days remain until your next birthday. By default it calculates your age as of today, but you can choose any "age as of" date. That is useful for forms, eligibility rules, retirement planning or finding someone's age on a past or future date.
How Age Is Calculated
The calculator counts complete years from your birth date, then the complete months after your last birthday, then the remaining days. It uses the real calendar, so it correctly handles months of different lengths and leap years.
Example: someone born on March 15, 1990 is 36 years, 6 months and 26 days old on October 11, 2026. That is 13,359 days in total. They were born on a Thursday.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the calculator handle a February 29 birthday?
In non-leap years, people born on February 29 usually celebrate on February 28 or March 1. The calculator follows the real calendar and counts your age forward from your actual birth date.
Can I calculate age on a future date?
Yes. Change the "Age As Of" date to any future date to see how old you, or anyone else, will be on that day.
Why is my age in days different from years × 365?
Leap years add an extra day roughly every four years. The calculator counts the actual number of calendar days, so the total is slightly more than years × 365.
